'Dandy' Don Meredith dies at 72

I never minded his commentary UNTIL he started singing.

Hmmm, this post got pretty old without any reply. Is he really missed? I hope when I pass away there is a lot more stirring in the B.com bulletin boards.

Assuming anyone tells us. When my time comes, I hope someone remembers to tell at least the radio station. Otherwise people will think I've just gone away, and I wouldn't like that.

I'm sure there's an iphone app that'll automatically send out your obituary if it senses that you've assumed room temperature...

I'm going to pre-compose my obituary in rhyme, I think it'll be a gas!
I'll appoint someone to post it here, and on facebook, once I pass.

My father wrote his own obit years before he died, said he didn't trust me or my mother to do it. He even put it "Following the funeral there will be an open bar wake at the Elks Club and scratch off lottery tickets will be handed out"

Mom nixed that sentence but there was a open bar wake at the Elks, I don't think there were any lottery tickets
