Happy New Year 2011!

Postby Trumpetmaster » Mon Jan 03, 2011 8:24 am

I want to wish all the staff and my friends here at Beethoven Radio a
blessed, healthy HAPPY NEW YEAR

Resolution for the New Year

Take 12 months: Clean them thoroughly of all bitterness, hate and jealousy.
Make them just as fresh and clean as possible.
Now cut each month into 28, 30, or 31 different parts, but don't make up the whole batch at once.
Prepare it one day at a time out of these ingredients:

Mix Well into each day - 1 part faith, 1 part of patience, 1 part of courage, 1 part of work
Add to each day - 1 part of hope, faithfulness, generosity, and kindness.
Blend - 1 part prayer, 1 part meditation, and 1 good deed.
Season the whoe with a dash of good spiritsm a sprinkle of fun, a pinch of play, and a cupful of good humor.

Pour all of this into a vessel of love.
Cook thoroughly over radient joy, garnish with a smile, and serve with quietness, unselfishness, and cheerfulness.

You are bound to have a HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Blessing to you all....

I wish he had been correct about the "no more flies or mosquitos" part...

Really, Hal Holbrook, doing his Mark Twain one man show, had me crying I was laughing so hard when he talked about Noah's ark and how after four days at sea Noah had to return to shore because he'd left the mating pairs of maleria mosquitos and house flies at the dock.

Actually, all mosquitoes need for breeding is stagnant water - there must have been no shortage of that in the Flood...
