Hi Guapo. Not to steal Nicole's thunder, but Besame Mucho is about a quarter century older than Nicole. I remember the tune well from the 1950s. It has such a Latin flavor that I can not imagine any European composer writing it (although Jacob Gade's Jalousie is a great tango). It sounds like something that Ernesto Lecuona might have written. It's also something the Xavier Cugat Orchestra may have played. I hope you can track it down. It's a nice song.
Shos
[ 03-08-2002: Message edited by: shostakovich ]
