We have a problem.

I decided to write to you Nicole Marie, because you seem to answer these types of things better.
I've been listening since last summer and I probably average 3-4 hours a day. I've noticed every once and a while the Internet streaming sounds like it's coming through a fan blade. On those days I just didn't listen. Well, recently it seems to be happening a few times a week. In fact I've started listening to a British classical radio station because Beethoven has been off so much. I decided I should bring it up to you after something that happened today. I have a friend who just got cable Internet and I was going to recommend this station, until I remembered the problems I've been having. I actually decided not to mention it. :( I know it's not my computer because I can stream everything else just fine. I hope you can find out what's going wrong.

Hi Anna-
The problem you are asking about comes from the company that streams us. When you hear those glitches it's a simple fix, the servers just need a simple restart. Thanks for being on so on top of our broadcast!

I think it would be a plus for everybody if you guys had a one-click button on your website where we could report "the dreaded helicopter." I usually try to e-mail y'all when I hear it, but sometimes it I'm too busy to put together the CC list, type the text, send an e-mail, etc. Just a suggestion.

How many of you listen via the SonicBox tuner? It isn't perfect, but the sound quality is generally very good, and I have never noticed "the dreaded helicopter".
When I can't connect, which is fairly rare, I use the CLBN connection as a fallback, but I have noticed that the sound quality is better with SonicBox.
SonicBox probably requires a higher speed access, which I am fortunate to have, but I thought I'd mention it anyway. You might want to give it at try.
Jeff
