Since Nicole is a Danny Elfman fan (yes I read your bio) I had to post this. Yes, tomorrow is the day to put your favorite Mystic Knights of Oingo Boingo record on the Hi-Fi, sit back with your favorite drink, and toast the genius that is Danny Elfman. And of course you have to play at least one of his film scores. Even though he is an outsider with his film composer colleagues ( and sadly never be respected enough by the industry to win an Oscar) I think he is probably the best loved and recognized score composer by film viewers. I personally love that each of his film scores are as individual as the movies they are written for, but also distinctly bear his musical signature. I think he has changed the industry.
