Looking for OT

Postby Nicole Marie » Fri Jul 11, 2003 12:23 pm

OT-

Dan just told me he talked to you about your touring dates in Europe! Fill me in! As Promotions Director of the station I'd love to work out some promotional announcements for these events for you. We will put it on the air and get word out to our European listeners. Get in touch with me and we'll chat about some ideas I have.

OT!! Touring? What have I missed?

I broke my elbow last week and have been in a percocet haze for days and not on the board for a week.

Marye

Hope you're feeling much better.

Welcome back from the haze, or is it to the haze? I forget!

Hi Mary,

I'm going to be part of a group (the San Diego Choral Arts Ensemble) that's going on a tour of some European cities and we'll do concerts along the way. We have concerts in Prague, Salzburg, Munich, and Venice. B.com (H.R.H.) has very graciously offered to help promote our concerts and will put our schedule on the website and are going to do some announcements during the live-host shows and for the recorded overnight shows. I can't express how grateful we are for the support offered by b.com. :D :D :D B.com is the best! :D :D :D

Thank you Shapley..... I am hurtin' indeed. I am thankful that this is all the injury I received. I was thrown over the handlebars of my bicycle and crashed headfirst into the pavement... it could have been worse....

Ouch! Were you wearing a helmet? If you don't mind telling, what happened? How's the pain?

Thank God it wasn't worse, and I hope you get this behind you soon!

Okay, now the question everyone asks me: So, are you going to get back on one of those dangerous things again? :D ;)

Good for you! :D

It's funny, most people don't think twice about getting back on a bicycle (and I don't mean this to impugn your decision to get back on it), but those same people think I'm nuts for getting back on a motorcycle, and more people per capita are killed riding bicycles!

In my circles left over wine is considered alcohol abuse.... ;)

BTW, I'm not going there with any corollary about drugs....

BTW again, I now have two threads with my name in the title of the topic. What is the world coming to?!

OT - don't forget the lawn gnome so you can take pictures of it throughout your tour and post on the board later. Maybe you can dress it in a mini-FRS (flame retardant suit).
