Hiccups & Skips

Postby dkm32 » Wed Mar 21, 2001 11:51 am

I listen to Beethoven.com via either a DSL or T1 line depending on where I am. I have been noticing hiccups & skips in some pieces.
Does anyone else have this problem?
I particularly notice it in Strauss pieces, but that may be because I am more familiar with them and can readily tell when a few notes are missing. A Waltz just doesn't flow as well when you have to take a couple of quick steps to catch up :-)
Donna
[This message has been edited by dkm32 (edited 03-21-2001).]

Yesterday was particularly bad. I experienced this on my high-speed connect at work and at home. I just received a message in my Beethoven.com mailbox stating that they have lowered the audio transmission speed, so this may help!
John
