I just requested the finale of act 1 of The Mikado. :crossed fingers: I think it's some of the best of the best of Gilbert & Sullivan.

I have a suggestion. A friend of mine, a retired schoolbus driver, built one. From a kit. Said adjusting the quills was the hardest part.

Does this sound like a new hobby you'd enjoy? After you build, you learn to play it. During the build, and after, your hands are far too busy for other addictions.

Alternately, I suppose you could go to Amazon and search on "harpsichord" in "Classical Music" and see what comes up...

Hi Scott,

Hi Scott,

I've done that before. That's why I knew you had that version of Bethena I requested the other day.

I think that's one thing we as listeners have to realize. In the genre of our choice, there are tons of different renditions of the same work, and it's totally unrealistic to expect b,com to have our particular favorite at their fingertips. If I really want them to play a certain something that bad, I'll send 'em a cd to make sure they have it. That way I get to impose my tastes on the rest of the listening audience while I'm at it.

:D

PS. Whenever I talked with folks about that opera(Lohengrin), I'd tell them our costumes looked like something out of MPSFTHG. That's fantastic!

Sure thing OT, but I'll have to redo it. If I simply blow that image up it will lose quality.

Look for a larger image sometime tomorrow evening.

Thank you. I tried in vain to blow it up myself.

That is too cool!
