Weekend plans: My girlfriend and I are going to wedding ring "window shopping". We aren't engaged yet, this is like a pre-engagement prep. :wink:

Enjoy the shopping, and pre-congrats, but Warning: you'll be buying something. Hubby and I used to window shop on dates before we were married and one day we actually walked into a jewelers. Ended up buying rings. But it took him another 6 weeks to propose.

25 years later, we still go on dates, and still window shop.

The fun part is this weekend. The not so fun part will be when I take out the credit card later on when I decide which ring to get. :cry:

Consider saving first, rather than payments later? Less stressful. Worst arguments I ever had were finance-related and nobody ever won.

we say Shana Tova (good year, no not tires). or l'shana Tova which is short for l'shana tova tikatev v'techatem (may you be written and signed [by God] for a good year).

Oh well, I have only 1 credit card that I use very responsibly (unless some individuals on shows like "Till debt do us part" with 50 credit cards and 100,000's in debt.)

I probably won't use my credit card anyhow. The jeweller has no payments due for 1 year, so I'll be able to pay it off comfortably within 12 months and avoid interest charges.
