Shapley,

I think in downtown Dallas there is a place for night time activities
called "The West End" or something like that.....

Try to have a little fun....

My hotel and my meeting are right by the airport, I don't expect to stray too far from there.

I've seen Dallas before, but it's been a while.

I arrived in Dallas with time for some Bar-B-Que and Beer before turning in. Due to a prior engagement, Haggis was unable to join me, so I had to buy my own beer. :D

My meeting wrapped up early on Friday, so I got stuck in the airport for about six hours, unable to make an earlier flight. At least DFW is a nice large airport, with lots of shops, restaurants and bars on the 'air' side of the security stations, otherwise it would have been an unbearable wait. I took the sky tram or whatever that thing is called around the airport, which offers a nice view of the whole terminus.

Welcome Back!!!
Sorry to hear you got stuck at the airport...

A buddy of mine whom I grew up with, lives in Grapevine, Texas.
I had a 5 hour layover in Dallas on a trip so he met me at the airport.
We sat and had many Brews!!!!
Nice Airport!!! Definitely plenty to do there!!!

Regards,
TM
