I listened to some recordings of her, most of which were re-creations for her trial. I can't understand how she was convicted unless it was racist hatred fueled by the war.

Its surprising how this 'lynch mob' mentality can just take over.

I think it was this sentiment--'cause that's what it was, not a fact--that got her arrested and convicted. I see Gerald Ford pardoned her.

I stand corrected, however she was certainly the public face of Tokyo ROse however that image arose and she she certainly admitted making broadcasts so I'll propose she was, at most, 1/12th Tokyo Rose.

I dont think the argument is that TR broadcast, just whether this woman was TR or not.
