I'm a rat. In fact, I'm a Wood Rat. [edit: reading farther, perhaps I'm an Earth Rat.]

Calendar I'm looking at wrote:Rats are said to be imaginative, charming and very generous to those they love - although they do have a tendency to be quick-tempered and over-critical. They are supposed to make good writers, critics and publicists.

I'm not sure about the charming part. The rest's not too far off base. However, they failed to mention a number of other notable traits that I, from time to time, display. Cranky, obstinate, opinionated, etc.

Check this out: Fanny Mendelssohn, Handel, and Big Daddy Bach were all born in the year of the Wood Ox. Woohoo! :jump:

Twelve critters and five elements to make the 60-year cycle. And don't try to confuse me by claiming wood, metal, earth, etc aren't elements. I don't think we're talking periodic table here.
