hal, I hope you don't mind my putting up a little something of my own. :D
This could keep those who have solved Opus X busy (but I doubt it is going to remain unsolved for very long). Came up with it just this afternoon, so everything is quite straightforward, nothing very subtle like the Master's. Even the arrangement of the pictures is pathetic! :lol: (BTW, that 'pathetic' is not supposed to be a clue :P)

We have a winner new
It's none other than our very own treebeau! :D

He also happens to be the first person to completely solve the puzzle, i.e., solve all parts of the puzzle associated with each picture.

Wow, I dont have even the slippery edge of a grip on this one.
I recognize the heir to the British throne, but thats about it.

Thanks for reminding me about this, piq! :D

As I said in the first post, there are no subtle clues hidden in those pictures. What you see is what the clues are! (If that makes sense) Moreover, I find it a bore to provide clues. :)

Here is the solution. Moving along the rows from left to right, we have

A LEG - SAND - ER (as in ER) , or Alexander

Niels Bohr - A picture of Beethoven with 125 on it, denoting his Opus 125 - his 9th symphony(ODE to joy) - An inn, or putting them together, BORODIN

Prince Charles and Igor Stravinksy make up PRINCE IGOR

So, it is Alexander Borodin's Prince Igor.

As soon as I saw Prince Charles and Igor Stravinsky "Prince Igor" hit me. Then it was a matter of working backward.

I actually did figure out "Prince Igor", but I kept coming up with Foot -Desert - Hospital - (unknown) - 'Beethoven's Ninth' - House for the rest of it.

Having figured out Prince Igor, why not try to create the composer's name with the other pictures, or you could've "guessed" the composer and sent the answer. I don't think anyone else wrote a Prince Igor. :)
