Navneeth,

Yes Good Morning for me....
Good Afternoon to you!!!

Sorry I have been away from the BBB of late,
but I've been so busy here at work.

I have been listening religiously to B.com (when I don't
have to run to meetings....)

Hope all is well!

Regards,
TM

I listen on Real Player, and the NPW doesn't show up half the time. The board is slow - slower than usual, IMO.

Performance indeed odd.
I watch after clicking on a thread, and when I get the "Done" in the lower corner, ~20% of the time, its a blank white screen. Going "back" and trying again usuallyworks.
I'm also having to select 'reply' more than once on occasion.
I guess I've been spoiled by consistency thru most of the past year.

It seems the now playing window is down, again. I was trying to find out what that last piece was, and I know it was't The Flash, The Memphisto Waltz, or The Blue Danube, which rules out the last played, now playing, and up next selections.

I've had that for some time, except that the page isn't blank, it just sticks on the one I start with. "Waiting for http://www.beethoven.com" I stop the download, then re-click, and sometimes I have to do that several times, as I did to get on to this thread. Once the server decides I'm not an enemy alien, it works consistently. The problem is particularly bad when I try to post.

Seems like the BB is really hanging up today as well. I post (or view a post) and then whne I try to "enter" to "escape", I get a blank screen sometimes for a minute or so...then I hit refresh and sometimes it will change screens....just very slow.

Hi everyone,

Sorry for the trouble. We added a new load balancer to share loads between servers in order to speed up serving the website and I'm still tweaking settings to get it right. Keep us up to date on how it works for ya'll and we'll keep tweaking. Thank you!

Chris, at the risk of sounding like a "complainer"...Please...keep tweaking. The website (not just the BBB) has been really really slow. Screen changes take minutes sometimes. I't really difficult to use the BB like this. Sometimes it just stalls out altogether. I guess I should not complain, afterall, you guys keep this up without charge etc. but, in any event, it's really erratic and very hard to post to (or change screens)

Thank you for your help and efforts.
Jamie

I tried again on Sat. Pretty sure that was a "quiet day" for you all. Board was still hanging up. I gave up after a few attempts to post.

Somebody did something good at the weekend. The board's going like a rocket this morning (Wednesday, here) and all the click-throughs work, EXCEPT when I want to post a reply!

Hi Again,

I'm testing this post from way outside of our system and the site is loading fast and I was able to send a couple of PMs without any problems. I also changed the load-balancing algorithm so let's see if this helps at all. For those of you who are having troubles with the site, could you help me by surfing http://www.wccc.com (you may not like the content! as its a rock station) and let me know if you experience the same thing? Thanks and sorry for the trouble!
Sincerely,

Yes, I'm having the same problem with the WCCC site. No other websites are causing me this problem from this location.

It was too slow to be usable this morning, now it's fine. Although I usually can blame the servers at work for that.
