Regarding the actual final episode of Lost:

In the flashforward, Jack referred to his father working upstairs. The reason Jack went to Australia was to bury his father. Hmmmm.

In the flashforward, Jack meets Kate near the airport. But Kate is a known criminal. Why isn't she in prison?

But then, the program is Lost, so wierd stuff happens.

Barfel,

I have decided that I do not have enough brain computing power to figure out all the angles of this show (as much as I love it). Goodness knows how they will eventually tie a bow around the whole thing. I have yet to find the Grand Unifying Theory that explains everything. I hope they have one.

Barfle,

I think Jack was unders stress from the pills etc....
referring to his father working upstairs.....

What I want to know is who is in the coffin....
At first I thought it was Kate's mom, but I recorded the episode
and in the beginning Jack sees the article in the newspaper
and is very upset... Since he is in love with Kate, he figured
she would be at the funeral.... She wasn't so could the dead person
of been Sawyer????

Lots of new angles.... Also, we need to find out what happened
to Desmond and Penny..... ----

Also have to find out what happened to the rest of the others...
When Ben left to meet Jack and the rest of the survivors going
to the radio tower, Ben told everyone to continue on to the Temple.
What temple????

What about Locke? and Walt?
What about and who is Jacob....

Ugh...

I need to fast forward to next season!

Regards,
TM

Good question. It appeared that the funeral home was in a black neighborhood, so I would have to guess Walt, Michael, or more likely, Rose. Remember, she was diagnosed with cancer, but was healed by the Island.

Locke clearly doesn't want to leave, since he figures the island is responsible for his recovery from paralysis. Walt was a phantom, like Ben's mother a couple of weeks ago.

Since it wasn't Penny's boat, I'm thinking it was Sun's father's.

So why is the Dharma initiative still sending supplies, when their original group was killed off by Ben and the first set of "others?"

I don't think it is Walt, Michael, or Rose. I think it is Sawyer. He and Kate
were hot to trot for awhile and I think Jack wanted to see Kate so bad he figured she would show up at his funeral....

I'm curious because Locke could not move his legs after being shot and
fell into that pit with the Dead Dharma people. Is it possible the mysterious "Jacob" healed Locke as he could walk again after Walt told him not to commit suicide as he had work to do....

Whenever I try to guess answers I find that the show takes twists that I hadn't considered.

The coffin is child size. Look again at the scene with Jack and the coffin from above.

Ben et. al. could be masquerading as Dharma so that they have an uninterupted supply.

Will be interesting thru the end, surely. I just hate having to wait 8 months for a 16 episode 4th season. And, only 48 shows total remaining.
