Is any one else recently having problems connecting to the Beethoven Radio stream via the Peal Player (96k) Radio Pass? All I hear is a voice message stating that the "program is off the air, please try again later". I've never had this issue in the past - been a long time listener and subscriber...

Software indicates I'm logged-in...

Curious to hear if others are having a simular issue. Any help/advice or incite to offer??

yes, I had that same problem today. I switched over and am listening on Windows Medial Player, with no problem.

That has happened in the past, and I've been able to get around it by going to the B.com website and clicking on the RealPlayer button. That did not work this morning, so I clicked on the Play Live Radio button.

There were storms passing through the area last night. I had a power outage in my neighborhood from 6PM through 2AM; romantic candlelit dinner and hit the sack early. Maybe the radio station is having power-related issues.

I constantly run into that problem...
It is very frustrating....
There are days when I log into the free windows stream
and get in without a problem....

I am unable to log on to Beethoven.com through realplayer, either directly through the realplayer, or by selecting the realplayer button on Beethoven.com's website. I was able to select the 'play LIVE radio' button and listen to it there.

Pretty annoying, particularly since I pay for realplayer service. I'll be sending them a nastygram.

Hello-

The Real server is locked at the moment. We are in touch wiht Real and they are aware of the problem. They hope to have it fixed tonight or early tomorrow. Sorry about that but the Real server is out of our hands.

Real Player Radio Pass is now connecting to Beethoven!!!
My soul can now be fed at 96k stereo... lol

Any ways, thank you Beethoven.com staff for working out the issue.

p.s.
I'm (we all are!) quite thankful for the free Windows Media stream...

I see that the Real Player/Beethoven Radio connection is dead, again. I've clicked on the Windows Media Player link, and am enjoying the broadcast, free of charge.

I'm still not sure why it is that I pay Real Player for a link that is significantly less reliable than the free one...

Time to write yet another e-mail to the powers that be...

Hi Folks-

It's back. I'm not in IT so I'm not sure why it goes down the way it does but we contacted Real and the stream is back up and running.

They seem to have the problem resolved, at least temporarily. However, as I'm now connected to the Media Player Stream, I'll continue listening there. It sounds fine and buffers less than the Real stream, anyway. I've let them know this via e-mail.

Strange...I find that WMP stream pauses every now and then. I think it happened once during the Ghost Trio and twice during the symphony.

Is anyone else noticing this?

I've been listening to the WMP stream all day. It did drop out for about the time I went to lunch, so I just shut it off and activited it when I returned from lunch with no problems.

Rachmaninoff is coming in loud and clear right now!

I ran a spyware scan right before lunch, which I do regularly, and the WMP was knocked out during the scan. I've noticed that the same happens to the Realplayer stream, so it was no big deal. Since I was leaving for lunch, I just shut it down and restarted when I returned.

Realplayer frequently rebuffers during the day, even with no change in my computer operations. Sometimes it will kick out completely, and I have to hit the 'play' button again. Periodically (once every two weeks or so) it will kick out and hitting 'play' will give me the "Please come back during broadcast hours" message. If that happens, I have to log back into the website and restart the Real stream from there.

I don't use WMP too often, usually only when Realplayer can't find the stream, but when I do it seems to operate much better than the Real stream. It's quite frustrating.

I see that B.com is not available on RealPlayer again. I'm listening to it on the free stream on WMP, which plays just fine.

Thanks. I have already notified Real that it was down. I'll send a message that it is repaired.

I know you all must be swamped, with all the porn mongers and online casinos that seem to have targeted the board lately. My hat's off to you!
