A new CFL season is starting this week!

My beloved Blue Bombers start their season Thursday on the road against those pesky Eskimos! Go Blue Go!!

BC at Toronto (Mary's beloved team )starts off the CFL season earlier on that Thursday evening.

Friday night football (our version of Monday night football ) features Saskatchewan in Montreal.

The final week 1 matchup has Hamilton in Calgary (Angie's team ) on Saturday night.

As you say... there is a lot of football left.



I went to the FIFA Under 20 game between Austria and the U.S. on Saturday. I sat in the outdoor stands and it rained almost the entire game .. U.S. were dominated and beatened by the Austrians -the same team, and not the only team to kick our ass in this tournament. I found, quite surprisingly, that I thoroughly enjoyed football... or soccer as we know it.... I may just become a hooligan.
