I got it down to 3 pages(18%) a long time ago. Of course it will fill up rapidly. Every reply is a seperate post with this software.

I've tried to send a couple of PM's today, to no avail. It acts like the flood protection is in place, even when I haven't posted.

Has anyone else had this problem? I haven't sent a PM in about a week, so I don't know how long it's been occuring.

Could it have something to do with the traffic volume we've been seeing lately?

It worked until we got our old pms back. Then it crashed never to return again. how about crafting us one for taking us to the first unread post?

I remember. PMs are more important than my mod anyhow.

Chris or Sarge, could you explain what you did to get the PMs back working last year? Then I might be able to understand why my mod broke.

Could you 'splain more? Is there something wrong with the little arrow and paper icon? If I recall OT’s gripe correctly, you are looking to have a brief preview of the content of the first new post, but only list each thread with new content once?

I probably won't spend any more time on phpBB 2.x stuff since 3.x is coming soon. The search engine has more options that I think you will like, OT. Did you read the page I posted with all the mods?

I'm working on a mod for 3.x that will roll back the last-visited time so that if you click on the board and reset your visit time without viewing all the posts, you can roll back to an earlier time and have all the new posts since then flagged. Makes it as if you'd never visited the board in the interim. Won't that be nice OT? I'm calling it the Egotistical Tenor mod. :P

My box can receive messages, but replies bounce like rubber.

Chris: Test 2 got the flood control message. The incoming messages appear to be fine, though.
