Chris,

The response time and navigating to different threads is much better!

Thanks,
TM

Yes! Good job, Chris. Yesterday and today (so far) I have had no problems with timeout errors!

OK, I was in this weekend working and was able to listen to B.com.
This morning I am getting an error message trying to connect
through WMP that says something about missing CODECs.
Does anyone know if this is on my end or is there something
up on the B.com side?

I tried some other Internet Radio stations and
just got a message about updating to WMP V11.

I'm downloading the software now and we will see
what happens...

Well, I installed the WMP V11 and that did not work.
Still getting that Missing CODECs message...

I sure hope my buddies here in IT did not do something to
block B.com. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

I want my B.com....

Thanks Y.R.H.,

I actually just "Re-Subscribed" to Real Player and got right on....
Hopefully the issues with Real Player in the past that caused me to
cancel have been resolved.

Regards,
TM

Hi Ya'll,

Sorry for the trouble. It looks like one of the Microsoft updates from the past week tweaked a lot of systems into not accepting ASX files. Visit our site and try the listen link again and failing that, the only way we've been able to fix it is to UNINSTALL Windows Media Player and then re-install it from their website. You can download it from the following link:

A few messages (and months) ago, I commented in one of Nicole Marie's threads on the article that showed Beethoven radio received income from Amazon.com ads being clicked on, and I recommended clicking on them when you are done with the board. Alas, with the new board layout, I no longer see Amazon.com ads on the pages, so I am unable to provide that level of support for those who are so dedicated to bringing me wonderful music all day long.

I sometimes do that, from Now Playing to Music Log to Amazon. But I wish the alternate CD recommendations (below the information on the current track) would be better. It's inevitably the 'Best Of...', 'Classical for Kids' type of CD's on the first page. If better options were offered, I wouldn't mind clicking more often. But I think it is how the Amazon.com's ads work, rather than B.com's fault.

One thing I've noticed is quite a few HTML tags floating around. For example, there's a line break showing on the main index under Nicole Marie's and Scott Birmingham's names, and at the bottom of the message boards there's always a "class="icon-subscribe">" hanging around.

And I just noticed that the font color button on the reply page is spelt Britishly. :?:

'this is the footer' at the bottom of all pages. I've been seeing that since the version change.

One issue that doesn't appear to have been addressed is the way the right side of the BB pages are cut off. Even with the window open wide enough that there's no horizontal scroll bar, you can't get to the icons and navigation buttons on the right side of the page.

This is particularly annoying when a new page has been created since you last checked in, and you can't get to the button to go to the last page. I have to get there by going back to the index, which indicates there are unread messages in the thread, and going back to the thread. Not that it'll keep me from annoying my fellow posters here, but my guess is that it's annoying them, too.

BTW, it happens in MSIE6.
