I miss the Now Playing window that tells me what I'm listening to. The Music Log isn't always up-to-date.

I thought it was the other way around. :) The NPW in the homepage works. This will open it for you in a new window/tab: http://www.beethoven.com/nowplaying_gateway.html (This was bookmarked before B.com's revamp)

The streaming link generates a 404 directory/file not found response on the windows media player screen. As a result, you don't see current and upcoming song. I get the same whether using a save shortcut or from the new web site page.

Any ideas?

Hi Steve. Welcome to the board. :)

I don't use WMP (I use the Windows Media stream, though), but that bookmark works fine for me. Sorry. :(

As the title of the thread says......I have no idea what's playing. This morning did have Bach's Toccata and Fugue, while listing the Cuban Overture.

look - I work in IT also so I know how tough a job it is for the administrators...

kick the server a few times...
just the way Fonzi used to hit the juke box to make it play on Happy Days....

TM, my credentials include MCSE+I in NT4, so I'm not unfamiliar with these machines doing things just a bit different than you expect them to.

Fortunately, I'm only a network administratorat home right now, and that's work enough. You may have noticed how long I've been promising pictures of my projects, and how they aren't up yet. :curse:

Barfle,
I'm a project manager in IT and always speaking with DBAs and SAs.
we test something in our lab.. works fine... then put it in production... OMG... doesn't
work... you know what hits the fan.... and it's back to the drawing board...

I understand the frustration... in fact, I have my Klingon Warrior Boots on as the
so called Lab Engineer is working on something being deployed in 2008 instead
of the deployment I have for tonight....

I do look forward to your pictures!!

Regards,
TM

It's not stuck, per se. It just seems to change very late. Thanks to Mr.Wurman still at the top of the NPW, I was able to listen to the Spring Sonata only from the end of the first movement. :(
