This topic has little to do with classical music, but everything to do with Waterbury Connecticut.
There is a show on the PBS named The War. http://www.pbs.org/thewar/
It’s directed by Ken Burns, and for those who do not know him, he makes phenomenal documentaries.
Anyway to the point, I hear Nichole talk about Waterbury frequently and thought some of you may be interested. Waterbury was a war town in the ‘40’s, and I’ve learned a lot about Waterbury home from watching The War.
