Cut-Off Right Side

Chris, has there been a solution found for this? It is really annoying whenever I try to use anything that is on the right side, such as the next page arrow or scrolling on reply.

I was trying to delete some old private messages from my box and can't find the "delete" button. The select tick buttons are visible but the action buttons not - are they under the truncated right margin? How can I clean out old trash? Trust me, the old trash needs to be cleaned out. :stinky: :holding nose:

Does your keyboard have the key that says

Print
Screen
Sys Rq

or something similar?


I'm just quoting that from my keyboard. You should find this button near/above the Home key. Once you have positioned you window so that you can see the things are being cut-off, press Alt+Print Screen. The screenshot has now been "copied," so to speak. It's in the clipboard. Open MSPaint and paste the image. (Either Ctrl+V or go to the Edit menu and click 'Paste'.) Now File->Save As, and save it as either a jpeg or gif (takes very little space). Upload image. You're done.

My screen is centered in the Internet Explorer window. The right side is not cut off. I have not experienced the problem you describe since the change-over.

When I am in the topic listings looking at posts, the BB truncates the right side of the listings. I can barely see the "on-line" banner.

When replying to a post, I can't scroll through other posts because the scroll bar is not visable.

On the main BB menu, the page is also truncated...but the horizantal lines extend beyond the right hand vertical axis.

I am on IE 6.0.2800

Firefox(2.0.0.6), Opera(9.23) and their imposters don't seem to have any problem.

Would you believe, from home there is no problem. Tried on Explorer 7.0.3750.11 and Firefox 2.0.0.7. Both display the right side of the windows with no trimmage.

I have no explanation for the problem at work, save to repeat that the machine there is lobotomized.

The new version of the bulletin board software is designed to spread itself across the available window. So by trying to run it constrained on the right and left, it is probably fighting itself. We all know how standards-compliant MicroCrap liked to keep their browser, so it doesn’t’ surprise me that the older version has problems with what B.com is trying to do while the real web company browsers handle it with ease.

Oh well! I got it as a "gift" and the PC was highly rated. Hopefully it won't be any worse than the PC with Windows ME. Thanks for the link.

I see the whole board from the firefox computer but the ie computer still misses its right edge.
