I would have thought somebody else had already said my reason but I guess not. Hopefully nobody rolls their eyes too hard. Mine started somewhere between 1984 and 1988, the high school years, when I saw Amadeus. I enjoyed the movie and instantly became enamored of Mozart's beautiful music. When I went to college, the first CD I ever bought was Mozart's Symphonies #40 and #41, and it grew from there. From just being nice, tranquil music to help block out the college noise, I soon developed a larger appreciation for classical music, which I do believe stems from the fact that for two years at school my roommate was a music major. And here we are today.
