Does anybody know what time it is?

I just posted a message to the BBB and noticed that the time stamp was 8:17AM instead of 7:17AM (actual time here). Being in San Francisco, I am in the Pacific Standard Time zone. I checked my "Preferences" and they seem to be set up correctly (i.e. PST with allowance for DST). Does anyone know what might be causing this? Thanks

More on this....I went in and disabled "Summer Time DST in effect" and the problem seems to have resolved. The time on my posts is now correct. However, I thought that the BB would apply DST automatically if this box was checked...which is to say that you would check this box if you lived in a state that had DST. It appears that DST has to be manually adjusted via "preferences" when it is in effect. Chris?????

One thing I recently noticed is how many of us old-timers seem to have signed up at 2:01 AM.

I have a hunch that 2:01 AM is the time the most recent BBB was implemented.
