Real Player Radio Pass connection

I do not know why it takes 5-10 minutes before I get an error message from RP.
But right after that error message plays... I go back to B.com.... click on RP and
connect through without a problem...

Since I'm in so early in the AM here... it's not that big of a deal... I kick off the process
and start reading emails until I here the error message from RP. I then get the B.com stream...

Hope you are enjoying the Brahms Symphony playing right now... I am!!!

getting error message telling me that I cannot sign in this morning.... argh..............

I was unable to log in directly through RealPlayer, but was able to open RealPlayer through the B.com website. I'm listening to Respighi now...

No RealPlayer this morning. I tried to log in normally, to no avail. I tried to log in through the B.com website - still nothing. I used the 'contact' feature on RealPlayer to no avail. I gather that the Real Network is down. TM, are you having the same situation?

Anyway, listening now on the WMP stream which, as usual, appears to be working fine.

sorry I missed your post...
I was not in work this morning.. have new software deployments tonight so I started
work at about 3PM today and working a double shift....

RP has been working fine for me since about 3PM today....

I just noticed that the RealPlayer button seems to be missing from the page header - I take it the B.com staff gave up getting it to work properly.

I know that overlooking the obvious is one of my many talents. How long has it been gone?

The stream has been very poor today.
32Kbps not 96Kbps.. and lots of static.

I just tried to re-connect to the stream and get an error
message that B.com is not on the air at this time.

Clicked on WMP and I get the stream without static....

The RP stream is very bad today.
Keeps going in and out... very choppy
as well as only transmitting on 21 and 32 KBPS....

I've been listening on RealPlayer since mid-morning, with no problems. It is, however, the first time in over a week that I have been able to hear it without interruption.

for the past 45 minutes the stream has been clean
and transmittting on 96kbps....

Well --- I jinxed it... I am stuck at 32KBPS ... can't seem to get 96KBPS...

this is frustrating...

I'm also at 32KBPS, but the stream is working with no problems [knock wood icon].

I'm not sure that the streaming rate is a function of RealPlayer. If you search the 'radio' feature on the site, they list B.com as 'dialup, 22K' on the site. This is not my area of expertise (as if I have an area of expertise ), but I would think real can't send the stream faster than they receive it.
