Free Player Loads Differently

So, I guess all you people on Windows will need to add this as a new station/stream to your WMP (or whatever player.)

It's been so long since I had used WMP that I forgot how to play internet stations with it. Clicking on the radio tab takes me to napster.com (within the WMP window.)

I got the same thing form home...no firewall there.

Unlike the case with Linux, it looks like not every internet stream can be added to WMP.

I can't access that from the office. I get a big "Forbidden" screen. I'll try at home. Unfortunately, I only work from home on Fridays, so my days of listening to B.com are extremely limited now.

I haven't had any problems at work. You'd think a university/hospital might have better firewalls... not that I'm complaining. I don't have issues with volume. As my computer was purchased from a federal grant, they don't even allow you to have speakers unless your job requires viewing video (eg, we tape assessments with kids and this is coded by others so interviewers doesn't have to slow down and write stuff down and observer can be objective - I don't do this though). Still might be tough to get through our battleax of an administrator. So I have headphones (currently earbuds that came free with some batteries - killed two pair of old walkman headphones in about 3 years) and pop them out when someone comes in to see me. My only issue is that instead of opening realplayer and clicking play, I have to open IE, find and click the B.com link, then open the screen. an extra click or two...

I'm assuming the new commercial-free stream they're talking about will not be free. Not sure if that would be more or less likely to get through the work firewalls, if it will be location dependent (do you have a sign-on, thus could get it at work and home?), and just how much that would cost.
