Is there some way that the stream can be tested by a user before actually signing up? The reason that I am concerned is that I am one those "one off" type people using an alternative OS - Linux.

The test stream worked perfectly for me on Rythmbox. (I say Rythmbox, because of some stupid file that went missing, that rendered all KDE apps., including Amarok, useless.)

FYI... If you sign up and the stream does not work we will do everything we can to get it to work for you. Just post here or send us an email and we will help. We tested the stream with all different systems before we launched (even Mac) and found it worked with all of them so folks should not have trouble. But if it does not work, and it we can not fix it, then yes we will refund your $$$!

For the record, I am using Hardy Heron. The link works with Rhythmbox and Totem but not Amarok. This is OK, I can listen to a clear stream once again. I really do like hearing the DJs but no so much the commercials.

yes the 128K stream is fantastic.
I use the headphones shown below... they were a bit expensive but worth it!!

Chris....question...Is there anyway to stay logged on in the Member's area? I am wondering if it is possible to set up a "remember me" protocol so we don't have to log in every day to get the stream. Or maybe the username section could simply be prefilled so we would not have to type in the email address etc. Thanks!

I'll see what I can do with a login script like that, but for now the easiest thing to do is to bookmark the stream link. You can use that link anytime, anywhere without having to login, as long as your account is activated on the server. Thanks!
