Brandy (You're a Fine Girl)
Gotta love the 70s...
Nav - St. Elmo's Fire was an early '80s Brat Pack movie - post-college angst with Demi Moore, Emilio Estevez, Rob Lowe, Judd Nelson, Ally Sheedy, etc. Actually just googled it - one link says it's interesting since a number of these actors played High School students in The Breakfast Club that same year. I remember watching both movies on cable when the folks werent' around - think both were rated R.... Anyway, the song is pretty awful IMO. sorry.

Eight Days came out in 1964 on the "Beatles for Sale" LP, but it peaked in 65.

In those days, every song on every Beatles LP was played on the radio, so songs became familiar before they became marketing hits.

Wheel of Fortune Kay Starr....
My tastes in music are rather eclectic. I'm amazed I'm not familiar with this one.

Hummm...number 1 on the charts on my birthday. Must have been:

Michael Praetorius' version of "Wenn meine Sünd’" circa 1609
