Music for a Storm Video

Postby StuartG » Fri Aug 29, 2008 5:24 pm

I'm putting together a video of a Rain Storm event in which a bridge washes away. I want to put music to it. I'm thinking using using something like Mendohlson's Fingal's Cave and/or Ride of the Valkyres. Any other suggestions? The whole thing is less than five minutes long. Thanks in advance. :-)

The classic storm movement from Beethoven's 6th.
Night on Bald Mountain
The movement from the William Tell overture
Carmina Burana

A few more:
March To The Scaffold: Symphonie Fantastique - Berlioz

Baba Yaga From Pictures At An Exhibition - Mussorgsky

The Planets: Mars - Holst

Prelude To Act III : Lohengrin - Wagner (Ok, maybe this is a little too 'happy' for a disaster video... but I love the piece, so had to mention it)
Insert creative phrase here.

There's also a concert band piece called Into The Storm by Robert Smith, I'm not sure that you'd be able to easily find a recording for use though.
