Crazy - Suzanne

I enjoyed the version of Cohen's Suzanne I just heard on Beethoven radio. It brought back many memories of the first time I heard the piece. It was Judy Collins' cover back in the late 1960s when I was in high school.

I am looking forward to more tracks from the new CD "Crazy." I like traditional classical music but I also like playing around with WEAM (Western European Art Music). For instance, there is a great recording of the works of Jethro Tull as performed by the London Philharmonic. Memory tells me is is called "A Classical Case."

Glad you liked that version. I really love it! Suzanne has been covered so many times but this version has a great classical feel to it and is so much fun to listen to. The group is I Furiosi and they are a new quartet that has kind of a "rock" look to them.

I Furiosi also covers Gnarls Barkley's "CRAZY" but, sadly, it didn't make it on to the disc.. they play it live though so catch them whenever you can!
