I saw that ice hotel on Discovery!! (I thought your father had more sense than that..... )

We're doing fine, one kid's moved back to St. Louis (we encourage them to move away, we offer a cash bonus to the one who moves farthest. Scot hasn't gotten the memo apparently and still lives 15 miles away) The MRHYN is quite the club lady these days. She's engages in "good work" as your parents would call it, sewing for the troops, children's hospital and collecting food for the local pantry (maybe ours soon?!?)

We're planning a vacation to Disney World (a consolation, I'd planned to go to Germany or Scotland but work intrudes) I'm working on a contract proposal that will take me to Qatar in March - June. My part is over 200 pages and the whole proposal is over a thousand pages and that's just the proposal!

In the meantime, Haggis and I are terrorizing squirrels at the park daily from 11:00 - 13:00

Me too. The program on Discovery said the guest sleep on ice beds with reindeer hides or something to keep them warm. With room rates at $450 at night, I'm not sold on the idea. Some idiots even spend their honeymoon there. NOT my idea of the perfect honeymoon destination, ESPECIALLY with the room temp at 12 f.!!

You could have just spent the night at my house. Last Tuesday's ice storm knocked out power to the house on Tuesday evening (about 7:20), and it was only restored yesterday at 3:00 p.m. No power, no water, no heat (well, a little, since I did have the LP fireplace working intermittently).
