Well, I decided to "steal" the wireless connection from next door today so that I could tune in to B.com on Beethoven's birthday. I hope to hear lots of my favorite composer's works. Hopefully Nicole, Scott and all the others will come through with lots of great music (as they always do)

Another Beethoven's Day is almost upon us. I believe I have all of my Beethoven's Day shopping done, and I'm ready for the big Beethoven's Day feast.

For some odd reason, our facility doesn't close for Beethoven's Day unless it falls on a Saturday or Sunday, so we'll having the feast as our evening meal instead of lunch. We are having a "Beethoven's Eve" lunch catered in today, courtesy of one of our suppliers. Everyone is in a festive Beethoven spirit.

I'm wishing you all a joyful and music-filled Beethoven's Day! Let us drink a toast to Ludwig (tonight, since we don't drink at work)!

Curiously, If I'd just looked at the calendar, I'd have reaized that Beethoven's day is already upon us. I've been labouring under the impression that today was Tuesday all day long. That would either make it the second Tuesday or the day following the second Monday of this week, having worked both Mondays and the first Tuesday thus far.

I suppose missing N.C.I.S. last night threw me off kilter, not that I was wearing a kilt...


Nonetheless, a happy Beethoven's Day to you all, and to all a good nightcap, or however that saying goes.

I have acquired Beethoven's piano trios, so played a few of those yesterday. Performance is by the Beaux Arts Trio, and is very nice indeed. Tempi are a bit slow, that's all.
