Nobody compares to Beethoven.com

I've been a long time listener, and have continued to do so these last two years from Los Angeles. A coworker recommended KUSC to me, and I listened for a few minutes and I've given them additional shots on two other occasions, but they do not come close to Beethoven.com!!

I could not agree more...a great music line-up and format with knowledgeable and friendly hosts.

On the rare occasions when I can get the stream in my office, I find that I'm more productive. Probably because I'm happier (unless they're playing the Revenge Aria).

Yes, too many classical music radio stations present in such a way as to make me ask, "do these people ever smile?" I guess someone has to keep goldfish for pets!

And could there be a substitute DJ better than Sir Stew? When I listen to local stations and the normal DJs aren't on, the replacements are noticably worse. Worst was when a classical DJ retired - his replacement still doesn't seem up to par even 6-8 months later - not a good learning curve!

I enjoy all the DJs, but I do miss Dan Maselli.

I was unaware of the connection of Beethoven Radio and Howard Stern. I'm the last to know everything.

A vulgar pig.
A wanna be comedian who has been on the radio for too long... IMHO

Thanks for supporting and liking us! We really are this great because of you! Your requests program the station so you should really give yourselves a pat on the back for doing a great job. Plus we like our jobs here at the station and we hope it shows through on air.

Oh yeah, Howard Stern worked in our building years ago as one of his first radio jobs. He worked for our sister station The Rock 106.9. Small world!

I am guessing of course, but I suspect that he probably does not listen to classical music

You had the father and son team working there,
Isaac on one side of the building and Howard on the other?
