Melle does the "Why do you suppose?" redirect a lot. I'm a simpler soul, I usually went with "Because" and "You figure it out." The incessant "Why?" is a manipulation attempt, most times. If I figured it was an honest inquiry, I'd haul 'em to the library or the zoo or the museum or the Fleet.
