Karl Malden Dead at 97

He was the oscar-winning actor of "A Streetcar Named Desire". He was known to many of us for his roles on TV dramas. "The Streets of San Francisco" comes readily to mind.

May he rest in peace.

I met Karl Malden several times and had some interesting chats with him. He was a great, down-to-earth gentleman. We've lost a good one.

Also, my favorite boxer, Alexis Arguello died today. He was a champ in 3 weight classes and was a humanitarian and mayor of his hometown, Managua, Nicaragua.

Bones,
I remember Arguello and his fights with Aaron Pryor.
Here is a link from espn where the say it appears to be a suicide.
He was a class act!

I had read about Arguello's death but, not being a boxing fan, didn't post a link.

This has been quite a week for obituary writers.
