Colleen is a gifted individual. She can take the most innocuous statements made by others and turn them into a stinging and formidable retort. To spar verbally with her is to take your life in your hands. She will embarrass opponents on the Senate floor, in the newspapers, and sometimes on TV. She gets things done.
Hawaii has two Methuselah-esque US Senators--one in his late 70's and the other in his 80's. Colleen has expressed interest in the job should one of them retire. If she makes it to Washington, it will be a little different. I'm not sure how many Senators would be sober or even awake during session. But the media would be listening.
