Apparently, the also crashed Facebook. I suspect it is part of elaborate plot to undermine confidence in our security and disrupt the economy. But then, I'm one of those that sees a terrorist behind every tree, right?

It seems someone didn't appreciate being booted off the board. There's more porn than ever this morning.

Of all the internet forums in the world, why does this jackal need to hit this one?!

If we don't click on any links....they get nothing in return for their effort.

If we hit on "Report Post", does that "quarantine" the post?

This person is wasting their time but have not found that out yet.

The board is back! Thanks! I've missed it.

Looks as if you've had to revamp the whole thing. It'll take some getting used to, now.

I appreciate all the hard work that goes into maintaining this thing.

Respectfully,

Thanks Shapely, I just reinstalled the latest version from scratch to make sure all of the old files were gone. Over the next couple of days I'll get it back to the old template so it will look like it used to. Thanks!

No problem. Hoepfully, the long dormant period hasn't chased the regular members into new directions. At least we didn't lose the stream during all this. Life is much less pleasant without Beethoven.com.

Nice to see the board back again. Thanks to Chris and all the IT folks there who have worked so hard to keep this up and running amidst all the spammers who would have it otherwise. Efforts are appreciated. I am hopeful that all the bugs are out and you've created a wall to keep all the bad guys out. BTW, this simple template is actually kind of nice and easy to use. Not that I didn't like the "real" BBB design.

I like the fact that the Smilies are shown on the right side of the screen!

Welcome back indeed! Hats off to Chris & the team for their huge effort in dealing with this wanton vandalism.

I quite like this basic layout too.

There is one topic left.
You can't get into it but it remains on the Helping Hand thread...

Is it possible to get rid of that one....

Thanks,
TM :-)

Yaay! I have buddies back in my cube again! Hooray!

I miss the forum when it's gone. Mind you, I don't miss the spam threads at all, at all - but I was even regretting the loss of Shapley. (I know you're going to see this: is it nice to know you're good for an adrenalin rush when I'm drowsy?)

Yeah. I have a fear that that one is like a cancerous tumor hanging around, waiting to spread. Also, the bulletin board always shows 'unread posts' in this forum, even though the post no longer exists.

I guess it's a sort of battle scar...
