Bread and Circuses. With all that is going on in the world: Obama fiddling while Afghanistan burns, leaked e-mails pointing to serious problems with global warming research, the nation being threatened with a second stimulus even though they still can't point to the effectiveness of the first (not to mention that, if it has been successful, no second stimulus should be needed), Social Security collapsing under its' own weight, Medicare following suit, the nation in danger of being burdened with a health care bill that is despised both by those who want universal care and those that oppose universal health care, and the fact that terrorists are are being protected within our military by our desire not to anger the already-angry factions that support them; what are the news organizations all abuzz about for the past few days?

Is Tiger Woods having an affair?

Bread and Circuses.

And the Obama administration has lashed out at Fox News because it's not a news organization in the way CNN is a "News Organization", like that's a bad thing...

Since I posted that, I see that Tiger has moved to the top slot at Fox. But only the number 1 headline, not the number 1 & 2.

I'm sorry, but I really don't see what business it is of the Congress who attends a White House Dinner, invited or uninvited, unless they are a national-security threat. The Congress has, or should have, more important matters on their agenda. If they don't, they should declare a recess and go home.

I agree. But I would like to see them in jail. This was no prank and could have had serious consequences. Besides they're just tacky and should be held responsible. It would certainly send signals to others with similar ambitions.
