Wow...a perfect piece for that kind of performance. How wonderful to see some zeal and exuberance in the musicians. It seems like the piece was made for that. Unbelievable that high school kids could pull that off. Kinda reminded me of the USC marching band.

I'll leave it to the musicians on the board to tell me how hard it is to move around like that and maintain accurate intonation. To me, it's nothing short of a miracle.

My Brother in law sent me that a couple of years ago. It's fascinating how ahead of its time it was. Not as compact as the snow-mobile today, but ingenius.

You have got to go see a dci show - the Stanford show on June 26 has all your Bay Area corps. Mind you, I don't think they'll be setting the props on fire but even so, it'll be good. Vanguard's drum line is better than those swiss boys. You have to see 'em to believe 'em.
