The next Hawaiian President

Mufi Hanneman, the current mayor of Honolulu, is running for governor. Parties like to pick governors as candidates as they have a similar job experience. My guess is that he intends to run for POTUS eventually. He has some appeal, and if none others do, he could be nominated.

Belonging to the Mormon church could hold him back. I cringed when he played the race card during the election (his opponent was white).

Other than those items he is electable.

I take it he's Negro, not Polynesian or Asian?

He appears to be Polynesian.

Here he's called Hapa. Half German half Samoan.

Having a half-Polynesian Presidential candidate will make interesting news in this part of the world. Good luck to him. Assuming he's a good man, of course, and not just another money-grubber.
