Why do I hear little league baseball when I tune in in the afternoons???

That was the local high school, I think it was maybe girls' fastpitch. It isn't supposed to be on the member stream but it's on the free one.

How 'bout more Bolero? And there are others...

I have an entire CD full of Vocalise. Different artists, etc. but all the same composition. And one of Pachelbel's Canon. (The Loose Cannon may be the best. LAGQ rocks!) I'll bet there's a CD of Bolero, somewhere out there. Another of P&TW.

The Symphonic Beatles is good. Symphonic Queen is better.

I could listen to more Bolero. I could listen to more Hector the Hero and if Barfle were surfing here I would boldly state, Revenge Aria please and thank you very much. I just can't stand Stairway to Heaven in any form. Years of that song being the number 1 choice of radio rock audiences around the world instigated by, "Pick your number one rock tune for all time" or "Pick you number one Led Zep tune" or "If you were stranded on a deserted Island ......" Blech blech and more blech. I used to say if I were stranded on a deserted island I would bring Exile on Main Street.... but now I would just bring drugs.

I have the CD of Pachelbel's Greatest Hit, with several versions of the Canon.

I can't imagine having a CD with multiple recordings of Bolero.

Peter and the Wolf is tiresome, as well. Even Peter Schickele's Sneaky Pete and the Wolf can't save that work, although his Carnival of the Animals more than compensates for it!

I also have a recording of Vivaldi's Four Seasons, with each movement done by a different performer in a different style. It's enjoyable, although I like Giles Apap's CD better.

It is hilarious to have a title of a CD or Album... Pachelbel's Greatest Hits, or The Rage of 1710... or the Greatest Hits of the 1700s.

But I would agree Peter and the Wolf is tiresome.

I'm so glad I turned out ambidextrous. I can argue, evenhandedly, with myself about anything, and appreciate the multiple sides of almost anything.

Man I love this C maj. toccata and fugue (Bach) performed by Michael Murray. I have the same recording and it just makes my spirit soar!
