Happy 4th of July to all our American posters! (and belated Happy Canada Day to our Canadian posters!) Doing the parade in my parent's town tomorrow am, then to the RPO's Red, White and Boom concert at an outdoor theater - we'll be on the lawn. kid's activities previous to the concert, and they'll be able to move about the lawn, so should go over well. It'll be Bella's first fireworks - Pumpkin didn't go until he was 4, but then, Bella's generally up until about 10 anyway, so it shouldn't be too much of a stretch assuming she gets a nap. Then maybe see what our town has going on on the 4th...
I'm actually working the 5th, so I can be off on the 6th to go to Niagara Falls with friends from out of town (need to save those vacation days). It'll be nice and quiet on the 5th and I can blast b.com!!

Ahhhhhh! Here in Virginia Beach visiting son, hotdogs and hamburgers on the grill and watermelon in the cooler.

Saw the USS Wisconsin battleship and Chrysler art museum yesterday, Wright Bros memorial Friday.

Hope you all are similarly enjoying the holiday.

I must admit east coast is a culture shock after acclimating to rural Ozarks!

Happy 4th to you all. Bonnie and I will be haeding out to "Taylor Mountain" for a picnic and a hike to the point that overlooks the annual Santa Rosa fireworks. Weather is perfect! Happy Independence Day to you.
