I was pleased to hear the VIvaldi concerto for Bassoon, Strings, and Harpsichord. It's not my favourit of his Bassoon Concerti, but it is always a pleasure to hear.

What's with the playlist today? Are in some sort of "Groundhog Day" format?

We keep hearing the Flight of the Bumblebee leading into Die Zauberflute leading into Star Trek.

Isn't this the second time in today we've heard Hurwitt's 'Remembrance' Symphony?

It's a nice piece, and I'm used to hearing it about once a day, but methinks it's being overdone.

Well, 'Ghost Riders in the Sky' is an interesting divertiment from our usual fare. I can't help but think that Nicole Marie would not have approved... ; )

Thank goodness for b.com - always comes to the rescue when I've got some song or music in my head that's annoying me! (today it's the Finn McMissle theme from Cars 2). Wish I could have this playing in the background for my two meetings later today....

Who's doing the programing these days for B.Com? I ask because I work from home more now and am able to listen more...unfortunately the experience hasn't been that great. They keep playing these vintage operatic recordings with piercing sopranos and poor recording quality. It really gets old. I find these of interest if they are lightly sprinkled in to the mix but this is over the top. Scott...what is going on? Are listeners asking for this stuff?

This Carmina Burana Suite by the Peabody Wind Ensemble is enjoyable. I think it's the first time I've heard Carmina Burana as an instrumental work.

Geezzz Louise guys, enough with the screaming opera in the PM (Friday). This is going on forever. lets have some variety. The morning started out pretty good. Sorry...must leave for another classical music stream if this persists.

I love Widor's Toccata from the Fifth Organ Symphony.

I have a couple of CD's of his works. Unfortunately, nothing else I've heard of his works comes close to it...

Thanks for playing selections from The Snowman, especially the haunting song here on the last day of winter! Our orchestra had played this with the movie twice in the past couple of years - kids loved it. Thanks for bringing back great memories!

I sense the powers to be at the radio station want to sell off or shut down "The World's Classical Radio Station"

I would rather management be honest and up front and let their loyal customers KNOW what is going on rather than keep us in the dark.

I guess we will try the b.com URL in the future and be told the "server is not available"

That would be very unfortunate.
