Beethoven.com up for sale?

Postby Shapley » Thu Nov 17, 2011 11:55 am

I see on the home page that says "Domain is currently for sale. To inquire, please call 1 508 689 9569, ext. 201. info@domainadvisors.com"

Are we going to lose our beloved radio and its website?

If we lose the website then I'll never reach "Patron".

I've enjoyed my time here, and if this board ends I'll be sad.

If we should lose it, we'll have to find another medium. Many of us are on facebook, where I also 'friended' your wife's page.

Facebook is not such a friendly place for discussion, but at least most of us can keep in contact.

Facebook is o.k. as far as it goes, but you always have to be on your guard. Its purpose is to sell eyes to advertisers, and the place isn't worth the value of a small country because of its benevolence.

Users can set up groups in facebook...makes it better for discussions...although it does not have capability like a BB list of topics etc.

FB has privacy issues. I doubt very much that the BBB does.

I love that I have a place to have discussions, vent, etc where I'm fairly anonymous... Always feel like I have to be careful what I say on FB. Once offended the MIL - made it sound like she didn't enjoy having a bunch of kids around - really just meant that they tired her out.... anyway, it can be rough.

I really don't want to lose b.com!!!

Has anyone contact the station employees to find out what the story is?

Interesting indeed....

I wonder how this (if at all) will affect the "Classical" side of WCCC???
