Yup, and it doesn't look like anyone is willing to do anything to stop it. This is clearly a non-partisan issue that everyone should get behind. Unfortunately, other than a Constitutional Amendment I can't think of anything average citizens could do to rein in this egregious and otherwise illegal activity

Today marks the 1,000th day since Senate Democrats last passed a budget. The Democrats’ fecklessness is not only irresponsible, it violates federal law. But the Democrats don’t care: they simply can’t allow the American people to see, in black and white, their plans for spending and taxes, they desperately need to hold on to the senate and the Presidency.

Considering that they have spent trillions without a budget what makes anyone think they'll bother with one if they continue to hold both?

The Office of Congressional Ethics is investigating the chairman of the House Financial Services Committee over possible violations of insider-trading laws, according to individuals familiar with the case.

Rep. Spencer Bachus (R-Ala.), who holds one of the most influential positions in the House, has been a frequent trader on Capitol Hill, buying stock options while overseeing the nation’s banking and financial services industries.

We had an interesting debate on facebook yesterday regarding the 'Stolen Valor Act'. I find it curious that politicians would make it illegal to lie about one's accomplishments...

We should make it illegal for them to break campaign promises.

I'm sure someone, somewhere, made doing so a campaign promise...
