This would be the first U.S. city to consider using drones and are, IMHO, inevitable.
Reminds me of that Robert Sheckley sci-fi story "Watchbirds", where they build drones to police the world.

it was in a collection of short stories called "Untouched by Human Hands". I read that book in high school ('63?) and still vividly remember it for the unusually original and far out ideas. Every one was a treat.
