The next 2 months are going to kill me.

I have been asked to sub in one of the orchestra's here on Long Island as well as been contracted to play wedding ceremonies.
Add this on with my Concert Band, Brass Ensemble, and church soloing, I have lots of work.
Good thing!!!!!

I will be running out of this office with trumpets in hand all over the island for rehearsals and performances.

I came across this tidbit of info, I thought I would pass in on:

Horn
"French" Horn is actually a misnomer. British royalty imported musicians from Europe during the 1500's. Many of the hornist apparently came from France. They were referred to as "fine French horn players," with "French" actually referring to their nationality, not the nationality of the horn itself. Today, the United States is the only country that incorrectly refers to the horn as the "French" horn.

You don't like "French" horn? Well, OK. We can call it a Freedom Horn; gotta keep it straight from the other horns somehow. And from the English horn, too, even though it isn't a horn at all...

More like "German" horns nowadays, since valves were invented in Germany.
