Top Ten 'Underheard' Pieces

Postby hal 9000 » Tue Apr 19, 2005 7:10 pm

BenG has selected a new topic for us to contemplate. Top Ten 'Underheard' Pieces.

This is your chance to share music that you enjoy but others may not be familiar with. The criteria for eligible pieces will be rather flexible, but must be generally classical in nature. Music in the genre of Rock n' Roll, Country, Jazz, R&B, etc. is not eligible. Film scores are eligible, but will not be considered for the purposes of reserving them for a different thread.

Okay, so let the game begin, starting with the questions about the criteria for eligible pieces I know I have overlooked. :p

Please take the time to compile your personal list of the 10 most underheard pieces in order of preference and PM it to me by Monday, April 25th, 2005 @ 5:00PM EST. Results will be posted later that evening.

My favorite unheard piece is Franklyn Johnathan Highden's "Mute Symphony in F-sharp Major". A work of pure genius.

Ooooooh no you don't. My birthday isn't until Sunday. That means we get TWO seperate cakes!

BUT! I'll make you a deal, withhold any attempts at spanking and I'll relinquish the cake.
No ones attempted the birthday spanking thing since I outgrew my sisters and returned the favor. :D
