Jenny McCarthy wrote a book about her pregnancy. She's a comedienne (sp?!?) so i'm sure it's pretty funny. That pregnancy sucks book sounds funny. I'm no where near ready to have kids and my experience on OB/GYN made me never want to have kids. Seeing a 10 pound baby coming out of a woman has convinced me that perhaps intrauterine growth restriction isn't too bad of a problem afterall. after seeing that, I was thoroughly convinced that being drugged up is the way to go.

I get back from San Jose and what do I find? The cat has finally escaped the bag, mangled the bag, shredded the scraps, and nested on the shredded bag scraps.

I already predicted a treble. High treble. You don't have to call that "soprano" if you don't want to. It'll sound the same, by any name.

Next subject: what to expect from pregnancy.

1. Total strangers will smile at you.
2. All your friends had worse ones.
3. Your last several weeks will be awkward.

Everything else is negotiable. You get some of the stuff from those books (Pregnancy Sucks doesn't really describe mine) and you'll get some stuff that those there books never thought of, much less mentioned. And if you decide to manufacture an Altoid2, you'll find rule

4. It changes every time.

I look forward to meeting Altoid.

I wish it were the babies I had to pace, but no. :p Oh well, work always gets in the way of posting anyways, so if I aim for both, maybe I'll get lucky and get to both EVENTUALLY and at the same time. *laugh*

Men for some reason were created such that their gametes are always fresh while my gametes have been mutating and rotting away since the day I was born. Yep, I'm way off my family plan I created when I was 9. According to that plan I would have been married with at least 1 child by now in a nice big house with a couple of pets. Of course, that was when I was planning on being a paleontologist or elementary school science teacher. Oh well...
