Look for "heigh Ho, Mozart" There's a couple out like that. Another one in the series is "Good Night, Ludwig."

I haven't seen the Baby Beethoven one, but having been a babysitter, I think I've seen all the other "Baby Einstein" videos, and some wannabe versions too. I like playing Name That Tune with the soundtracks.

My guess is that you'll be quite happy when she graduates from fifth chair to potty chair.

An excellent point indeed!

So far we have partially achieved intermediate step of high chair. If chair surface is slick, Altoid slides into the straps, but is happy to be in chair with a bit of texture to the seat!

Key difference in pix 4 & 5 months - a careful observer could locate a maternal shoulder behind the nearly-invisibly propped up child at 4 months. At 5 months, she's relying only on the bear for support.

That collar in the last pic looks like the one that GC wore in the posted opera pics. :) Now where is that thread so I can post them side by side?

Progress on the solid food front: We're not sure if she's trying to eat this or give herself an avocado facial.

Not just progress on the solid food front. Do my eyes deceive me or is she sitting upright without assistance AND using a utensil!!!???

It looks to me that she loves her food, just like her Mother. :)

What a wonderful photograph. ;)

GC, correct on both counts. :D However, she only bats ~.500 when it comes to hitting the target(her mouth), as evidenced by the avocado facial she's giving herself.

Update on Altoid's wonderful Christmas.

[i](Somewhere on the board are shots of the amazing gifts sent to her by generous and sneaky people - I thought they were on this thread..... hmmmmmmmmm) :p

Altoid appreciated each and every gift and interaction. Its fascinating to watch her change in her handling and view of them.

Thank you all again!

Now Im headed out for a baby-fix!

Free flute lessons if you move back this direction when she's ripe. :)

However, I've seen what happens when you spit up in a flute so we'll have to limit the avocado intake prior to lesson time.
